The young and charming Vandiyadevan has set out on a mission to travel to the Chola Land and deliver a message to their King about an alleged plot against him. The story goes back and forth between Vandiyadevan’s travel to the Chola Land, and the travels and adventures of Arulmozhivarman (Rajaraja’s name before he was titled the Chola King) in Sri Lanka. Arulmozhi’s sister, Kundavai, is desperately trying to get her brother to come back to their land and bring about political peace. She believes he can rid it of unrest, signs of civil war and enemies. The novel acknowledges the bonding and friendship between Vandiyadevan and Arulmozhivarman during the travels, and their attempt to end the conspiracy and understand what caused it.Get A Copy from :
